Real-Time Messaging to Cell Phones

The universal connectivity of the CMM enables messaging to be sent real-time to cell phones. Exposure to latency with SMTP-based text messages and lack of cell carrier support for legacy Internet messaging protocols such as SNPP make the CMM an ideal option for time-sensitive messaging to cell phones used by individuals, groups, and enterprise solutions.

Short Messaging Service (SMS) Support

The CMM enables enterprise organizations to send SMS messages to cellular telephones as well as other SMS compliant devices. Connecting the CMM to either the Fusion Series Event Management Module or Commtech Messenger means real-time SMS notifications of alarm and events.

Modular Architecture

Once connected with a valid SIM card, the CMM is designed to need no more intervention from the user. Connectivity of the module is via RS232 interface connected to either the output of a Commtech Messenger Server/PC or the Fusion Series Event Management Module (EMM) via its RS232 level serial port. This kind of simplicity and reliability make the CMM the ideal solution for a vast array of applications.
