Seamless Real-Time Communication
The Event Management Module (EMM) is the 'hub' of the innovative Fusion Series and is suitable for many enterprise environments that incorporate mobile staff and first responder personnel. Supporting multiple protocols "off-the-shelf", the EMM offers intuitive manual dispatching methods and automates alarm and event delivery by accepting information from virtually any 3rd party system, applying a rules-based engine, and distributing real-time information to a variety of wireless and wired communication devices.
Intuitive Operator Dispatch
Utilizing a web-based graphical user interface, the EMM provides human operators with a user friendly method to send real-time messages to individuals, groups and the entire enterprise. With its modular architecture, adding the Fusion Series Telephone Interface Module (TIM) also enables PBX connectivity and the distribution of messages via simple voice prompts using a standard telephone touch-pad. Additionally, utilizing its SMTP interface, the EMM can receive e-mail messages and send them to the communication device(s) of choice.
Intelligent Alarm Management
In supporting various input protocols, the EMM can be integrated to virtually any 3rd party system to deliver time sensitive information through its configurable rules-based engine. In enabling "intelligent" connectivity from enterprise systems, out-of-tolerance alarm conditions and critical events are automatically routed to communication devices to ensure rapid response. Filtering of data by the EMM results in more meaningful distribution of information and ensures alarm desensitization does not occur with mobile responders. Escalation to individuals and groups can easily be configured to ensure alarms and events are acknowledged and acted upon.
No PC or Server Necessary
With versatile enclosure options including a standard 19" industrial rack mount unit and a durable desktop / wall mount unit that is stackable with modular expansion, the EMM footprint fits easily in any environment. The self-contained, network appliance architecture of the Fusion Series does not require a PC or Server and results in a lower total cost of ownership and ongoing support considerations.
